[origin: WO2012007302A1] The invention relates to a pack, in particular a cigarette pack comprising edges (2) that are formed between lateral surfaces (1) of the pack, at least one said edge (2) having at least one first region (2a) and at least one second region (2b). Two lateral surfaces (1) directly adjoin each other in the first region (2a), and the lateral surfaces (1) enclose a transition surface (3) in the second region (2b). The invention further relates to a method for producing such a pack, the pack material being chamfered by means of a chamfering tool (8) with two chamfer lines (9a, 9b) which run next to each other, which are parallel in some sections in particular, and which converge into one chamfer line (9c).
