[origin: WO2011141320A1] The invention relates to a rotary locking bolt for a motor vehicle door lock, intended to collaborate with a striker of said motor vehicle, said rotary locking bolt (5) comprising a metal body (14) and having a cylindrical through-opening (12) intended to collaborate with a corresponding guiding surface (13) of said lock (1) so as to pivot about an axis of rotation (I) between a position in which the lock (1) is open and a position in which the latter is closed, in which it collaborates with the striker, characterized in that said metal body (14) has compensating projections (16a-16f) projecting around said cylindrical through-opening (12) on each side of the ends of the cylindrical through-opening (12). The invention also relates to a motor vehicle door lock (1) provided with such a rotary locking bolt (5).
