Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2012010153A2] The invention relates to a torch comprising an optical attachment which is rotationally symmetrical to an optical axis, which comprises an outer reflector part, an inner converging lens part and a rear surface having a blind hole bore, and an illuminating diode (LED) arranged on disk-shaped holder. According to the invention, in order to provide a torch with an optical attachment, in which the emission characteristic can be adjusted between a moon mode and a focus mode, in which the torch is as easy to use as possible and the desired focusing can be can be achieved in a fast and reliable manner, the optical adapter can be displaced in a defined manner between two stops in relation to the LED such that an essentially homogenous beam of light is produced when the optical attachment is placed on the holder.
