Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2012062659A1] Timepiece comprising a back and display means, said timepiece being inscribed between first and second mutually parallel reference planes, the first plane being tangential to said back, and the second plane lying on the same side as the display means. The timepiece contains a movement which comprises a framework. The framework (10, 11) comprises at least two components positioned one on each side of a reference axis perpendicular to the first and second planes of reference, on each of which components there are mounted a balance (30) and an escapement, which together respectively form a platform escapement (16a, 16b), each balance being mounted to pivot about an axis of rotation in the corresponding component. The framework further comprises at least one support element having at least one bearing surface (36) on which at least one of said platform escapements (16a, 16b) is positioned so that the axis of rotation of the balance (30) of said platform escapement (16a, 16b) is inclined with respect to said planes of reference and intersects them, the intersection of the axis of rotation of the balance (30) with the first plane of reference being closer to the reference axis than the intersection of said axis of rotation of the balance (30) with the second plane of reference.
