Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2595457A2] The device (15) has control circuit (18) to which fan (16) is attached to provide required electrical energy. The control circuit is provided for supplying electric power to output of ballast (20) to which pulse-width modulated output signal (AL) is applied. The control circuit has signal circuitry that generates duty cycle signal which is transmitted to fan control unit. The fan control unit controls the operating state of the fan by fan control signal depending on the setting of the duty cycle signal. An independent claim is included for method for operating fan of light module.
