[origin: WO2012010411A1] The invention relates to a single-piece flexible hose (10) for a vacuum cleaner (1) for transporting dust-laden intake air, wherein the average inner diameter of the hose (10) is greater than (D1 + D2)/2, wherein D1 represents the minimum inner diameter and D2 the maximum inner diameter. The present invention allows a vacuum cleaner hose to be provided using simple design and cost-effective means, wherein said hose can comprise lower flow resistance. In particular, a hose having a reduced flow resistance can be provided for replacing conventional hoses and for use with conventional vacuum cleaners. A hose having a reduced noise level that can lead to more comfortable suction operation can further be provided.
