Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2012010357A1] The invention relates to a fuel injection valve, comprising: a valve body (2) in which a fuel path (3) runs, a valve needle (4) opening to the outside and exposing and closing off an aperture (6) at a valve seat (5), a magnetic actuator (7) having an armature (8), a closing spring (11) returning the valve needle (4) to a closed valve state, a sealing element (13) separating the magnetic actuator (7) from the fuel path (3), so that the magnetic actuator (7) is disposed in a region (17) of the valve body (2) that is free of fuel, and a counterspring (12) contacting the armature (8) and pretensioning same, wherein the armature (8) and the valve needle (4) are separate components that are immediately adjacent to each other at a separation point (14) and contact each other. The counterspring (12) pretensions the armature (8) against the valve needle (4), and a force (F1) of the closing spring (11) acts against a force (F2) of the counterspring (12), wherein the force (F1) of the closing spring (11) is greater than the force (F2) of the counterspring (12).
