[origin: WO2012010440A2] The invention relates to a refrigeration device (1) comprising a heat-insulating inner container (3) having a coolable inner chamber (5), a cooling device for cooling the inner chamber (5), a door leaf (7) which is mounted such that it can pivot in relation to the inner container (3), for opening and closing said inner chamber (5), and interior lighting arranged inside the inner chamber (5) for at least partially illuminating the inner chamber (5), also comprising a housing (11) and illuminating means (15) arranged inside said housing (11). A non-contact sensor (19) is arranged inside the housing (11) of the interior lighting (19) and is designed to produce a signal when the door leaf (7) is open.
