[origin: WO2012010311A1] The invention relates to a sensor device (1) that is designed to detect a linear movement of an object to be measured and that is provided with a sensor (2) and a magnet system (3) co-operating therewith. The device is characterised in that the magnet system (3) is formed from at least two, preferably more than two diametrically magnetised permanent magnets (4), aligned axially in relation to one another, and has a defined angular offset of the permanent magnets in the axial direction in relation to one another (4).
