[origin: EP2597249A1] The drilling equipment has a base main portion whose rear side is arranged with a lifting mechanism (18) for suspending the equipment in the hole, and an eccentric cam axle (22) rotatably mounted in an application unit mounted on an end face of the base main portion eccentric to the central axis (11) of base main portion and circumferentially about the central axis. A drive unit rotationally drives the application unit about cam axle. The application unit is disc-shaped such that the cam axle is angled at an acute angle to the axis of hole and/or the central axis. An independent claim is included for a method of forming vertical drill hole.
