Abstract (en)

The device (10) has setting unit (12) for setting a standby temperature of the hot water in hot water tank (100). The setting unit sets the standby temperature according to removal characteristics of hot water from the hot water tank such that the standby temperature of the hot water is lowered at a time interval in which no removal is detected, and is raised after subsequent removal of hot water. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) method for controlling standby temperature of hot water storage tank; and (2) computer program product for controlling standby temperature of hot water storage tank.
