Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2012013502A1] The invention relates to an electronic apparatus comprising at least one recess (1) shaped so as to receive an external module (100), wherein the external module comprises at least one connector for engaging with at least one complementary connector of the apparatus, said connector being arranged at the bottom of the recess when the external module is placed in the recess. According to the invention, the device comprises insulation means (11) for cutting-off at least one power supply to power supply contacts of the connector of the apparatus in response to the activation of a contactor (11), wherein the contactor is arranged on the apparatus so as to be activated by the external module before the connectors are connected, and so as to be deactivated once the connectors are connected when the external module is placed into the recess.
