Abstract (en)
The device has an upper plate (1) and a lower plate (2) that slide against each other. A scale (3) is fixed under the upper plate on a turntable (4) that swivels around its central axis for directing feet of the scale at various angles. A pin (5) is allowed to block the turntable, and a set of holes of different thickness is bored in the turntable. A crutch part (6) is utilized for reinforcing stability of the device, where the crutch part is adjustable in height.

Dispositif pour travailler facilement en hauteur dans un escalier droit ou tournant. L'invention concerne un dispositif léger, peu encombrant, maniable et aisément transportable. Il est composé de deux plateaux coulissant l'un dans l'autre, d'une échelle articulée (3) solidaire du plateau supérieur (1) et d'un garde corps amovible. L'échelle (3) sous le plateau supérieur (1) est fixée sur une platine (4) qui tourne sur son axe central, afin d'orienter ses pieds sous différents angles, pour les placer de façon idéale sur une marche dans le bas d'un escalier tournant. Une béquille (6) renforce la stabilité de l'ensemble en se fixant sur l'un des pieds. Les montants de l'échelle (3) sont télescopiques afin de varier la hauteur. Le plateau inférieur (2) se pose directement sur une marche dans le haut de l'escalier. Ce dispositif est destiné aux personnes susceptibles de travailler en hauteur, dans un escalier, en toute sécurité.
