[origin: EP2600072A1] Provided is a humidifier enabling the weight load of a tank to be used to fit the tank, and the burden on the user to be reduced. In a humidifier (1), a tray (14) is fitted from a sideward direction onto a main body (10), and a tank (16) is fitted from a sideward direction onto a tank receiver (14a) of the tray (14). A support section (143) for supporting the tank (16) is provided to the tank receiver (14a). When fitting the tank (16), the user brings a support corner (16a) of the tank (16) into contact with the support section (143), and brings the tank (16) closer to the main body (10) while causing the tank (16) to rotate about the vicinity of the support section (143). Since the first protruding section (161), which protrudes towards the main-body (10) side, is formed on the upper half of the tank (16), when the center of gravity of the tank (16) has shifted further towards the main body (10) than the vertical plane passing through the center of rotation, the own weight of the tank (16) causes the tank to move towards the main-body (10) side.
