[origin: WO2012017173A1] The present invention relates to an end piece (10) that can be push-fitted onto the body of a device (26) for pipetting a liquid (24) comprising: ° a distal part (12) intended to receive the liquid (24) sucked up by the pipetting device (26), said distal part (12) having a distal free end (121) via which the liquid (24) is sucked up and delivered, ° a middle part (14), connected to the distal part (12), intended to come into contact via its proximal free end with the body of said pipetting device (26) and to allow said end piece (10) to be fixed to said body, ° a proximal part (16) connected to the middle part (14) and through which the body of said pipetting device (26) passes when said end piece (10) is push-fitted onto said body, said proximal part (16) being intended to protect said body and prevent any contact between the pipetting device (26) and the liquid (24), said end piece (10) being characterized in that the proximal part (16) is not in contact with the body of the pipetting device (26).
