Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2013000549A2] The invention relates to a pressure medium system, in particular a hydraulic system, having a fluid pump (1) for delivering a drive fluid with a certain delivery flow rate and a certain fluid pressure (PIST), and having a control unit (8) which switches the fluid pump (1) on or off in order to set a predefined setpoint value (PSOLL) of the fluid pressure (PIST), wherein the fluid pump (1) exhibits an inertia-induced overrun when switched off, such that during the overrun of the fluid pump (1), the fluid pressure still rises while the fluid pump (1) has already been switched off. It is proposed that, during the increase of the fluid pressure (PIST) to the predefined setpoint value, the control unit (8) switches the fluid pump (1) off before the fluid pressure (PIST) has reached the predefined setpoint value (PSOLL). The invention also comprises a corresponding operating method.
