Abstract (en)

The apparatus (1) has spreading units (6) for spreading labeling sleeves (3) and lifting units. The lifting units are arranged to move to a feed position in which containers are passed upright on the lifting units. The container is lifted by lifting unit to labeling position in which the spread label sleeves are positioned on the container. The lifting unit is moved to removal position from which the labeled container is removed. An independent claim is included for method for labeling container.

Beschrieben werden eine Vorrichtung und ein Verfahren zum Etikettieren von Behältern (2) mit Etikettenhülsen (3). Dadurch, dass Hubeinheiten (7) vorgesehen sind, die eine Beschickungsposition (10) zum Aufnehmen der Behälter, eine Entnahmeposition (11) für die Entnahme der Behälter und eine Etikettierposition (9) zum Etikettieren der Behälter anfahren können, lässt sich die Etikettierung mit Etikettenhülsen insbesondere mit elastischen Etikettenhülsen, im durchgehenden Basehandling durchführen. Dies ermöglicht insbesondere eine Etikettierung von Behältern ohne Tragring und/oder mit einem dünnwandigen Mündungsbereich.
