Die Erfindung betrifft eine Duschvorrichtung (1) mit einem Funktionsmodul (16). Das Funktionsmodul umfasst zumindest einen Wassereinlass (29), einen Wasserauslass (25) und ein Ventil. Das Funktionsmodul (16) ist mittels einer Bedienanordnung (3) betätigbar. Das Funktionsmodul (16) ist oberhalb der Bedienanordnung (3) angeordnet. Zwischen der Bedienanordnung (3) und dem Funktionsmodul (16) besteht eine Wirkverbindung, so dass über die Bedienanordnung (3) das Funktionsmodul (16) betätigt werden kann, obwohl beide beabstandet voneinander angeordnet sind. Die Wirkverbindung kann insbesondere mechanisch sein und ein stabartiges Element (32) zur Übertragung der Bewegungen der Bedienanordnung (3) auf das Funktionsmodul (16) umfassen.
