The device (1) has a valve arrangement (16) comprising valves e.g. seat valves and slider valves. A position transducer (46) senses a position of an actuator element and generates a position signal to be applied to a controller. The controller comprises an input to receive the position signal and an output to predefine a pressure medium quantity to a pressure medium source. The controller comprises a logic circuit that supplies a pulsed actuation signal or a predefined actuation signal to outflow valves (34, 38) or an actuation signal or a predefined actuation signal to the source. The pressure medium source is designed as an adjustment pump or a rotational-speed-controlled constant pump (2).

Offenbart ist eine elektrohydraulische Steuereinrichtung und ein Verfahren zum Ansteuern einer derartigen elektrohydraulischen Steuereinrichtung, wobei beispielsweise eine Geschwindigkeitsregelung über eine mengenverstellbare Druckmittelquelle und eine Positionsregelung über eine Digitalhydraulik erfolgt.
