The cooktop device (12) has two connecting units (30,32) for connecting a cooktop plate (14) with a cooktop housing in an assembled state, where an alignment unit (34) is provided for aligning the cooktop housing in a recess of a countertop in the mounted state. A safety unit (36) is provided for maintaining the fraction of the cooktop plate of the cooktop housing on the countertop in the assembled state. A profile element (20) is formed in a closed frame, and is designed substantially as a U-profile.
