[origin: WO2012019633A1] The invention relates to a granulate containing 95-99 % of imatinib mesylate and 1-5% of a volatile liquid to a process of making a granulate of imatinib mesylate, which process comprises wetting imatinib mesylate with a granulation liquid, and granulating the mixture in a granulator, followed by drying, and optionally sieving and/or milling of the produced population of granules, to a pharmaceutical composition for oral administration, and for use in medicine.
