Abstract (en)

[origin: EP2418232A1] Stable secondary aqueous suspension comprises at least one of substituted water-insoluble biodegradable aliphatic diblock copolyesters (I) containing a block of an aliphatic polyester and a block of a polyethylene oxide, where the solid content of (I) in the suspension is at least 10 wt.%, the melting point of (I) is 35-70[deg] C and the mass of the polyethylene oxide in (I) is 500-10000 Daltons. Stable secondary aqueous suspension comprises at least one of substituted water-insoluble biodegradable aliphatic diblock copolyesters of formula (Y1-(O-A-O-C(=O)-(CH 2) p-C(=O)) m-(O-(CH 2) 2) n-O-X) (I) containing a block of an aliphatic polyester and a block of a polyethylene oxide, where the solid content of (I) in the suspension is at least 10 wt.%, the melting point of (I) is 35-70[deg] C and the mass of the polyethylene oxide in (I) is 500-10000 Daltons. A : 3-12C alkylene; p : 1-14; m : 10-500; n : 10-500; X : H, alkoxide, 1-20C alkyl or phenyl; and Y1 : H, alkoxide, 1-20C alkyl, carboxylate, carboxylic acid, ester or thioether. Independent claims are also included for: (1) preparing aqueous suspensions stable biodegradable copolyester comprising: dissolving particles of (I) in a polar aprotic solvent; mixing this solution with water and then removing the polar aprotic solvent; and dialyzing the obtained suspension against a water-soluble polymer; (2) use of stable secondary aqueous suspension for the preparation of nano and microfibers, and nano and microfiber nonwovens with random or oriented fibers by electrospinning, where an electrospinning solution is added at a proportion of 2-10 wt.% of a water soluble polymer; and (3) nano- and meso-fibers and nano-and meso-fiber fleeces obtained by electrospinning the secondary aqueous suspension.
