Abstract (en)
The drum-type washing machine according to the present invention is adapted such that, in spin-drying processes, it rotates a rotary drum (43) in a forward direction, and if a vibration value of a water tank (42) which has been detected by a vibration detector (78) exceeds a threshold value, it stops the rotation of the rotary drum (43) and, thereafter, restarts a spin-drying operation by rotating the rotary drum (43) in a reverse direction. With this structure, it is possible to suppress the occurrence of imbalance abnormalities, thereby suppressing stoppages of running thereof before the completion of spin-drying processes.
