[origin: EP2604742A1] The control element (14) has an axle (20) and rotationally movable knob (16). The axle has electromagnet operation resistance unit (18) which is provided with resistance profiles. The resistance unit is controlled depending on the respective resistance profile and a respective orientation of the rotary knob. The resistance profiles are provided to define more than two different resistance values. An independent claim is included for operation unit.
