[origin: EP2604945A2] The hot water accumulator (1) has a tank (4) for storing the hot water, an inlet (6) for supplying cold water in the tank, an outlet (8) for removing the hot water from the tank and a pressure unit (2) arranged between the inlet and the tank. The pressure unit is provided for interrupting the cold water supply in case of failure. The pressure unit has a sealing element (3) arranged in a flow direction (D) of the cold water.
