[origin: WO2012022859A1] The invention relates to a system for generating vibrations for a sieve, including: two synchronously rotating and parallel eccentric shafts (10a, 10b); two motors (20a, 20b) arranged to separately and mechanically drive the two eccentric shafts, respectively; a first continuously variable transmission (CFW) arranged to control a first (20a) of the motors, said continuously variable transmission being configured in a master mode in which the same communicates the angular position of the first motor over an external link (COMM); a second continuously variable transmission (CFW) arranged to control the second motor (20b), connected to said external link (COMM) and configured in a slave mode in which the same controls the angular position of the second motor according to the angular position conveyed over the external link; and direct-current power supply lines (DC-Bus) that are common to the continuously variable transmissions.
