Die Erfindung betrifft ein Heißdrahtschneidgerät mit einem Bügel (1), der zwei Schenkel (1a, 1b) zum Aufspannen eines Schneiddrahts (2) und einen die beiden Schenkel (1 a, 1 b) verbindenden Steg (1 c) aufweist, und einer Arbeitsplatte (5). Erfindungsgemäß ist vorgesehen, dass der Steg (1 c) des Bügels (1) drehbar an einem Träger (4) aufgehängt ist.
