Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2607031A2] The device has a cutting blade arranged downstream of a product support (3) for food product (1) and moved to cut food product fed and conveyed in a conveying direction (I) on product support. A temporarily cooperating product holder (7) temporarily holds the food product during the cutting process. The product support has load region (13) between initial position (A) and end position (B) of the product holder, in which the product is loaded in the product support. The product holder of the end position is movable to the initial position by by-passing the load region.
