[origin: EP2607577A2] The cylinder lock (1) has a cylinder housing (2) having a cylinder bore (3), in which a cylinder (4) is rotatably received. The cylinder has a key hole for receiving a key bit (18) of a key (17). The cylinder has multiple lower channels, in which lower pins (7) are movably arranged. The cylinder housing has multiple upper channels with movably arranged upper pins (20). The cylinder housing comprises a contact surface and a closure element (9) of another contact surface to attain engagement with the former contact surface. The interlocked surface serves as support for a spring element (8).
