Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2012025314A1] The invention relates to a method for detecting an offset error of a torque sensor of a bicycle pedal drive. A state in which substantially no torque acts on the torque sensor is identified by detecting at least one pedal actuation value which reflects the pedal position, the pedal speed, the pedal turning direction or the relative actuation power of the pedal drive. A torque signal from the torque sensor is detected during this state, wherein the signal value of the torque signal represents the offset error. The invention further relates to a device for carrying out the method according to the invention.
