Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2012025395A2] The invention relates to a circuit configuration and to a method allowing proper operation of a household appliance after an AC power supply UN has failed. The circuit configuration (1) comprises a motor control unit (6) and a main control unit (18). The motor control unit (6) is supplied with electrical energy U1 with the aid of a motor supply circuit (7). The motor supply circuit (7) comprises an intermediate circuit capacitor (14) for storing electrical voltage. The main control unit (18) is supplied with electrical energy U2 by a main supply unit (19). After the AC power supply UN fails, the main control unit (18) is supplied with electrical energy U3 from the intermediate circuit capacitor (14). Uncontrolled shutoff of the main control unit (18) and the motor control unit (6) can thereby be avoided.
