[origin: WO2012025470A1] The invention relates to a singly or multiply corrugated board glued on one or both sides, wherein at least one of the top plies or corrugations is a paper film composite comprising: i) a paper material having a grammage of 30 to 600 g/m2 and ii) a biodegradable plastic coating that is 1 to 100 µm thick. The invention relates in particular to singly or multiply corrugated cardboard glued on one or both sides, wherein at least one of the top plies or corrugations is a paper film composite comprising: i) a paper material having a grammage of 30 to 600 g/m2 as an outer layer, ii) a biodegradable plastic coating that is 1 to 100 µm thick as an intermediate layer, and iii) a paper material having a grammage of 30 to 600 g/m2 as an inner layer. The invention further relates to a method for producing said corrugated board.
