[origin: EP2609834A1] The furniture (10) has a seat part (12) provided with a seating surface (12a) to move a leg pad surface (14a) of a support frame (14). A mechanical device (20) moves a foot support part in a closed position. A foot pad surface is located in the seat part to arrange the foot support part in the closed position. A supporting surface includes a horizontally-moving mechanism provided with a middle beam (30) that is attached to guide rails (36, 38) relative to the seat part. The rails are provided with a rotating rod (42) for translating a moving mechanism, where the rod is connected on the beam.
