Abstract (en)
The die (11) has a tool body (26) whose tool aperture is extended across the tool body, for engagement with a punching stamper (15) of a punching tool (14). A front end (21) of the tool body supports a work piece (17). A cutting edge (33) surrounds the tool aperture. The cutting edge is surrounded by a circulating recess (32), which is passed into the front end. The cutting edge is formed by a chip surface, which is passed into a base surface of the circulating recess. A plateau plane is provided between the cutting edge and the chip surface.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Werkzeugmatrize (12) für eine Werkzeugeinheit zum Stanzen und/oder Scheren von Werkstücken (17), insbesondere von Blechen, mit einem Werkzeugkörper (26), der eine Werkzeugöffnung (24) für einen Eingriff eines Stanzstempels (15) eines Stanzwerkzeuges (14) umfasst, die den Werkzeugkörper (26) durchquert, und mit einer am Werkzeugkörper (26) vorgesehenen Stirnseite (21) zur Auflage eines Werkstücks (17) und mit einer Schneidkante (33), welche die Werkzeugöffnung (24) umgibt, wobei die Schneidkante (33) von einer umlaufenden Vertiefung (32) umgeben ist, welche in die Stirnseite (21) übergeht.
