The bottom sill (10) has a profile portion (11) which has profile sections (12,14) when viewed in cross section. The profile section (12) when viewed in the vertical direction has a smaller height than that of the profile section (14). The profile section (12) has a recess (65) in a front end face, in which a glazing bead (66) for retaining a fixed glazing (3) is arranged. The glazing bead is arranged below 50% of a point of profile portion and has maximum height of profile portion when viewed in vertical direction.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Bodenschwelle (10) mit einem Profilkörper (11), der - im Querschnitt betrachtet - einen ersten und einen zweiten Profilabschnitt (12, 14) aufweist, wobei der erste Profilabschnitt (12) - in vertikaler Richtung betrachtet - eine geringere Bauhöhe aufweist, als der zweite Profilabschnitt (14), wobei im ersten Profilabschnitt (12) im Bereich einer vorderen Stirnfläche (48) eine Ausnehmung (65) angeordnet ist, in der eine Glasleiste (66) zur Halterung einer Fixverglasung (3) angeordnet ist, wobei die Glasleiste (66) zumindest zu 50 % unterhalb jenes Punktes des Profilkörpers (11) angeordnet ist, der - in vertikaler Richtung betrachtet - die größte Höhe des Profilkörpers (11) aufweist.
