Abstract (en)
The method involves providing a plasma torch (2) at an opening of a metal housing of a bomb (4). A mixture of gas with non-oxidizing liquid is directed as a secondary medium (2.5) towards the metal housing around a plasma jet (3). A mixture of gas with a volumetric flow of 5l/min is directed towards the surface of the metal housing. The gas is selected from nitrogen, argon, helium, air or carbon-dioxide.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Öffnen und Entschärfen von Sprengstoff enthaltenden Bomben (4) oder Geschossen, bei dem zum Öffnen des Metallgehäuses einer Bombe oder eines Geschosses mindestens ein Plasmabrenner (2) eingesetzt wird. Dabei soll ein nicht oxidierendes oder eine Oxidation verhinderndes Gas oder Gasgemisch oder ein Gemisch eines Gases mit einer nichtoxidierbaren Flüssigkeit oder eine nichtoxidierbare Flüssigkeit als Sekundärmedium (2.5) um oder neben einem Plasmastrahl (3) auf das Metallgehäuse einer Bombe oder eines Geschosses gerichtet werden. Es besteht auch die Möglichkeit mindestens ein Plasmastrahl auf ein(e) von einer nichtoxidierbaren Flüssigkeit oder nichtoxidierbaren Atmosphäre umgebene(s) Bombe oder Geschoss zu richten. Durch diese Maßnahmen kann eine Flammenbildung vermieden oder diese reduziert werden.
