[origin: EP2422931A1] The grinding disc unit has a grinding disc (10) having a front surface (12) for mounting a grinding wheel (130). A drive shaft (20) of the grinding disc is mounted on rear side (14) of the grinding disc. A suction hood (30) is rotatably attached to the drive shaft. The grinding disc suction openings (16,17) are made to penetrate the grinding disc and the suction hood for dust extraction.
