[origin: EP2615231A2] The sliding door- or window system has two sliding elements (4.1,4.2) formed as door or window, and are locked by a locking device (8) arranged between them. The locking device has a lock (14) and a counter piece on sliding elements for positive locking-engagement of the lock in a locking position. The counter piece is designed as connecting element with an unlocking inclination (20), a carrier flank (21) and a locking latch (22) for the lock. During the movement of the sliding element the lock falls in the carrier position behind the carrier flank by running over unlocking inclination.
