[origin: WO2012035214A1] The invention relates to a medical device for recreating biomechanical movements in order to rehabilitate and prevent sprains, including an element for destabilizing the rearfoot, consisting of an articulator (12) capable of pivoting about a pivoting axis XY oriented at an angle of between 10° and 55° relative to the longitudinal sagittal plane. The articulator (12) comprises: a top portion (14) consisting of a semicylindrical tiltable cradle provided with rolling tracks (18, 19), and a rotary plate (17) acting as a bearing means for the heel of the user; a bottom portion (15) contacting the ground and including a supporting base (24) having rollers (25) engaging with the rolling tracks of the cradle (16) after assembling the two portions (14, 15); and an adjustment means for adjusting the amplitude of the tilting path of the cradle (16).
