Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2012035094A1] The invention relates to a three-axle bogie (1) for rail vehicles. The bogie comprises a divided frame which is formed from three frame elements (2a, 2b, 3) as well as a centre wheel set (18) and two end wheel sets (20a, 20b). Two frame elements (2a, 2b) each have a crossmember (4, 5) which is connected to a longitudinal member (7). Said longitudinal member (7) is respectively formed with a free longitudinal member end (8). The longitudinal member ends (8) of the frame elements (2a, 2b) are aligned with respect to one another. The frame elements (2a, 2b) which are respectively coupled to an end wheel set (20a, 20b) are connected such that they can rotate by means of ball joints on the free longitudinal member ends (8) to the respective centre wheel set (18) and by means of a pivot bearing (16a, 16b) to the respective third frame element (3). The frame elements (2a, 2b) with the end wheel sets (20a, 20b) are therefore formed in such a way that they can rotate by means of ball joints with respect to one another and in relation to the centre wheel set (18) as well as in relation to the third frame element (3).
