[origin: CA2812183A1] The invention proceeds from a converter cutting device (10) for a converter which is provided for converting at least one endless fibre into cut fibres, having at least one cutting unit (12) which can be driven rotationally about a rotational axis (36) and comprises at least one cutting means (13) with at least one blade (14). It is proposed that the cutting means (13) encloses a cutting angle (15) which does not equal 0 degrees with a plane which is oriented perpendicularly with respect to the rotational axis (36).
