Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2012035085A1] The invention relates to a staircase comprising a plurality of steps, wherein the steps have a respective horizontal section (Hi, i=1...N) as the tread having two longitudinal sides oriented transversely to the staircase running direction, wherein each step is designed as an individual step element (Ei) the horizontal section (Hi) of which transitions on a longitudinal side into a downwardly inclined contact section (Ai), which is located outside the vertical projection of the horizontal section (Hi), and on the opposite longitudinal side transitions into a downward support section (Si), which is located inside the vertical projection of the horizontal section (Hi), and the support section (Si) of a step element (Ei) is supported on the contact section (Ai) of the following step element (Ei-1) down the staircase. According to the invention, wedge-shaped connecting elements (Ki) are arranged between the support section (Si) of a step element (Ei) and the contact section (Ai) of the respective step element (?i-1) that follows down the staircase. The staircase according to the invention can be installed quickly and easily, said staircase allowing optically appealing implementations because same is suitable for being mounted with the aid of carrier cables (3), yet has good stability.
