Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2012048702A2] The invention relates to a trigger system (1) for triggering a filling operation on a gasoline pump (100), comprising a fastening device (2) for detachably fastening the trigger system (1) to the gasoline pump, and an actuating device (3), which is adjustably connected to the fastening device (2) and can be adjusted such that, in an actuating position, the actuating device (2) remains operatively connected to the safety switch, wherein a dead man's device (4) is provided in order to interrupt the filling operation in the event that a fault occurs and thus to cause said actuating device to remain in an actuating position. Furthermore, the invention relates to a method for a filling operation at a gasoline pump, comprising at least the following steps: fastening a trigger system (1) for triggering the filling operation to the gasoline pump (100), and activating a dead man's device (4) in order to interrupt the filling operation in the event that a fault occurs.
