[origin: WO2012037906A1] The present invention presents a system and a method which can be used to automatically record billing-related data about quantities of primary energy or generated quantities of energy, for example heat, in a continuous manner using a customer-specific unit (7) and can supply this data to a central server (3) which carries out the complete handling of the contractual agreement between a management company and an end user (2) by means of a specific program. The result of the customer-specific evaluation of the recorded and supplied data is used firstly for complete handling of the contracts and transmission of customer-specific bills, and also for automatically switching on and switching off the supply of primary energy when limit values are exceeded.
