[origin: WO2012038156A1] The invention relates to a transponder for installation in an elastomer matrix of an air spring having an antenna (1) which consists of one or more filaments (2, 3) which are deformable in an elastic and/or plastic manner and which are wound to a predetermined antenna length L in a helical shape. The aim of the invention is to improve the range of the emitted radio waves. Said aim is achieved in that the antenna (1) has a length between 40 and 100mm at a coil density of 5 to 15 coils per cm of antenna length, wherein the antenna has an optimal length of 55mm at a coil density of 13.4 coils/cm and an optimal length of 70mm at 6.7 coils/cm.
