Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2011080416A1] The invention relates to a method for designing seated work stations (chair, work surface, side tables, desk for meetings, and storage elements). Seated work stations designed according to the invention allow the user to work in a specific comfort position, in which the user's back does not tire as s/he is working. The work stations are designed on the basis of a specific reference position obtained from the orthopedic load supported by the chair and the work table. Said stations comprise a combined chair and table unit, in which a right angle is formed between the seat and the pressure points on the backrest. The work table, which is reduced to a work surface, can be moved without altering the inclination thereof in order for the user to stand up from the chair. The other elements can be accessed laterally from the reference position. These work stations are intended in particular for users seated for long periods.
