[origin: WO2012041751A1] A propulsion unit for propelling watercrafts, comprising an impulsive propulsion element (1) which is actuated from outside and is connected to a submerged diffuser (3) associated with a watercraft, the impulsive propulsion element comprising a cylindrical tube (2) provided with means (4) for injecting a dose of fluid into the diffuser, the injection of fluid being provided in alternating steps upon the actuation of pumping means adapted to supply the fluid to the injection means.
