[origin: WO2012041560A1] The invention relates to a method for manufacturing a thermoelectric device comprising: a first circuit (1), called the hot circuit, able to make a first fluid flow; a second circuit (2), called the cold circuit, able to make a second fluid flow that has a temperature lower than that of the first fluid; elements (3p, 3n), called thermoelectric elements, that allow an electrical current to be generated in the presence of a temperature gradient; and fins (5) in heat exchange relationship with said hot circuit (1) and/or said cold circuit (2), the thermoelectric elements (3p, 3n) at least making contact with said fins (5). In the method according to the invention, said fins are compressed (5) so as to ensure said thermoelectric elements (3p, 3n) are kept against said fins (5).
