[origin: WO2012045386A1] The invention relates to a vehicle having an all-wheel drive system in which the front axle (3) and the rear axle (17) of the vehicle can be driven with front axle and rear axle torques (MVA, MHA) which are different sizes, wherein a difference (?n1) in rotational speed between a front-axle-side rotational speed (nVA) and a rear-axle-side rotational speed (nHA) is produced from a torque difference (?M1) between the front axle torque (MVA) and the rear axle torque (MHA). According to the invention, the vehicle has a unit (27) for determining a coefficient of friction (µ0, µ1, µ2) of the road, which unit senses the difference (?n1) in rotational speed, and in that the unit (27) determines the coefficient of friction (µ0, µ1, µ2) of the road on the basis of a value pair (W1) which is composed of the difference (?n1) in rotational speed and the difference (??1) in torque and/or a parameter which correlates therewith.
