[origin: WO2012045546A1] Described is an apparatus (20) for controlling a hydraulic accumulator (10) of a hydraulic system (12), for example of a vehicle gearbox (14), having a valve device by means of which an accumulator-side port (B) of the apparatus (20) can be connected to and separated from a system-side port (A), wherein the valve device comprises at least one first check valve (56), which is arranged hydraulically between the accumulator-side port (B) and the system-side port (A) and which blocks in the direction of the system-side port (A), and an electrically actuated control valve (52), which is arranged between a control port (X) of the first check valve (56) and the accumulator-side port (B) such that said control valve can unblock the first check valve (56) hydraulically using the pressure prevailing at the accumulator-side port (B).
